BOLO - Missing Thoughts
In honor of Two Shoes Tuesday, I was taking a stroll through my head this morning trying to gather my thoughts. Just as soon as a thought popped in, it seemed to drop right out. I thought a lot of thoughts this morning, but for the life of me could not gather them in to form something that made sense. Hmmm. This is weird. Thoughts disappeared as fast as they came. I turned around and around in my brain, wondering what was wrong. Then I saw them. My thoughts. Swirling around on the ground behind me. That was when I knew.
I had a hole in my head.

You made me laugh out loud! Love this!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I feel like that most of the time. :)
Well, it's about time I paid you back - - you make me laugh out loud all the time!
DeleteYOU TOO?????
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be an epidemic :)
DeleteLOL!!! Why do you think I keep pads and pens all over the place and in my purse AND car? If I don't write it down when it pops in my head, it's a goner.
ReplyDeleteThus, the hole in the head :)
DeleteIf it ain't written down it ain't happening. I'm 47-yrs-old, I blame it all on menopause starting. LLOL!
ReplyDeleteI've thought of writing post-it notes and putting them on my forehead :)
DeleteOMgosh, this was the best seriously laughing out loud
ReplyDeletelove it Thank you Judy sending you Blessings
Glad this made you laugh, but that doesn't help me find my thoughts!! haha :)
DeleteMy thoughts get scrambled like that too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and your family Judy!
Same to you, Beth!!
DeleteJust the delightful post I needed today, I am sitting here smiling. I have often suspected that I suffer from the same malady! :-) I love your take on this prompt, thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou're quite welcome! Thank you for Tuesdays!
DeleteLOL! That is so funny. Maybe that's what's wrong with me, too!
ReplyDeleteTruly an epidemic :)
DeleteClearly you are not alone. It is quite inspirational to go for a walk to pick up on other people's thoughts that have dropped to the ground. ps It's an old writer's trick; Shhh!
ReplyDeleteAah, the truth is out!
DeleteI hate it when that happens.. !
ReplyDeleteI think I leave little scattered thoughts all over the place!
DeleteWe better not get together or our thoughts might merge on the ground and start a life of their own. Who knows what the might decide to do.
ReplyDeleteCould be very creative - and a lot of fun!!
DeleteHilarious...but I know just what you mean!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing we don't all live in one big community - who would there be to remind us of why we went to the grocery store?!
DeleteI love this! I didn't know it was going to end that way. Hilarious! I am going to start using that phrase when I forget, or am absent minded!
ReplyDeletePost it notes - on the forehead :)
DeleteNice Judy. LOL What do we do now that we know what the trouble is?
ReplyDeleteI try to write things down. I suppose we could sort through the pile behind us.
..
There's got to be a way to plug that hole :)
DeleteOh my....do I ever identify with this!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have lots of holes in my head, but luckily the cotton wool in there keeps the thoughts from falling out.
ReplyDeleteOh man! I should have thought of the cotton wool!
DeleteLet us not speak of the day recently when I put chili powder in my breakfast oatmeal instead of cinnamon. Hole in my head? Definitely. Perhaps it is because our brains were so large they leaked out a bit???
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to start your day!! Chili oatmeal! Mmmm :)
DeleteI have a hole in my head most days as well. Hard to gather my thoughts sometimes....and i refuse to believe it's anything to do with age!
ReplyDeleteI agree - - age has NOTHING to do with it!
DeleteYou got me with your opning sentence..."taking a stroll through my head." Classic.
ReplyDelete:) Hope you have a fabulous holiday!!!!
