Boring Blogger

"I'm Bored" . . .  "I'm think I'm going to die of Boredom". . . "This is so Boring I'm going to stick a fork in my eye".
My biggest fear as a blogger is to be the "Boring Blogger."

Ugh.  If I really thought I did that to people, I would make this blog go away.   If YOU want to stick a fork in your eye while reading my blog, please feel free to unfollow me or delete me or make me disappear or call me names behind my back.   There have been times when I'VE wanted to unfollow me.

But, if you're not inclined to reach for that fork, then I will see you tomorrow.

  4. Ha! I enjoy reading so many things--I don't think I've ever been bored reading a blog. I guess the days I don't feel like reading blogs--I just don't read them.

  5. Love that you said you were a boring blogger then made me grin with your blog! Keep up the great posts. Blogs are never boring, no matter how boring you try to make them. Well, unless your blog was an entry with just one letter typed over and over again...that might qualify. But an insight to anyone's thoughts...have to love that! Will be back for more!! :)

  7. I try not to be boring, just the right amount of fiction, opinion, grandkids, my ups and downs. I really started this so my family could get a sense of who I am. You are not boring.

  8. Sounds like a perfect post for the insecure writer's group, started by Alex Cavanaugh. Can't say this blog bores me at all. I'll be back.

  10. The A to Z is hard and challenging. I was hoping yesterday to gain some ground in writing future posts. No such luck. There is always so much to do. Gah. I don't think you are boring. I think you are a bit Burned Out. I hope that changes... this is a marathon. Not a sprint. I'm rooting for you:)

  13. You are most definitely not boring. The fork is staying in the drawer (unless my husband decides to chase my kids around the house with it.)!

  19. Oh man, I can't stop laughing at that, "Guns don't kill people, but your boring stories do." LOVE IT! I want it on a shirt so I can point at it when someone is in the middle of telling me a boring story. SO not a boring blog. I'm still laughing! :-)

  21. You are SO not boring! I hate the word "bored". I hear it out of my kids mouths at least once an hour during the weekends, and in the summertime...? Dear Lord, it seems that they're "bored" every minute of every day! My answer is always the same: "If you're so bored, go clean your room." It works...it shuts them up for at least 10 minutes.

    1. We used to use the same tactic on our children - I don't remember ever being bored when I was a kid. Always something to do "back in the day" :)

  22. Too funny! What I have discovered is that the posts I feel are really trivial, boring, or silly are often the ones folks like a lot, while posts I work hard on and think are stellar are the ones that get two so-so comments. I've learned to just write what comes to me, for the enjoyment of doing it. The folks who enjoy you will be there thru the ups and downs. Personally, I think your blog is great, I love stopping by because you come across as very genuine...my kind of woman! :-)

    1. Yes! The harder I work on a post that I think is just awesome are the ones that nobody seems to appreciate but me - lol! I just can't take myself too seriously :)
