Random thoughts of a girl who used to try to fit in the box. Then I realized that boxes are stupid. Except this box, the one above. It's really pretty.

I Survived . . . Again
Christmas was great and all, but this is what I'm really excited about.
I'm sure it will happen one of these days, but I'm gonna try and make it to a dozen.
I think I'm the opposite - - I'm always happy to take the tree down and get on with the business of life. You live in a beautiful place - - that's exciting!!
Oh, that is soooo funny! I bet I've survived even more than five! Love it! I am more in your camp re: putting away Christmas. Ours was especially sweet this year - the grownup children were in good moods, we all cooked together, some very thoughtful but not expensive gifts were exchanged. This afternoon both kids and their sweethearts will join us for lunch (homemade pizza!) and tomorrow my extended family ( about 35 people) will descend upon the house - all very warm, friendly and festive - but then? Then I will be ready to retire Christmas 2012 and get on with the new year.
I'm not sure what I'm excited about...I've been more stressed out than anything else lately, although I'm trying not to be. Oh I know, I'm excited that I'm almost done with that infernal Project 365. lol
Sounds like a great bucket list starter! :) Hoping you had a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeletehaha - - you're right!
DeleteI'm trying hard to get excited about something. I always get the after Christmas let down.
