Beam Me Up . . . And Down

Well, not only did the aliens suck my brains out, they came back and "beamed me up" . . . thus explaining my absence these last few days.  Don't worry - they were cool about it.   We had a nice chat about life and the Real Housewives of New Jersey (they were curious about Teresa and what species she is - I couldn't really answer that one).  Then, after hugs and a promise that we would see each other again, they gave me back my brains and beamed me back down.

You know, aliens really get a bad rap.   Fine, they really shouldn't be sucking our brains out,  and they do look weird (but then, so does Teresa).  But other than that, they were very hospitable.

And, by the way - - Mulder's sister says hello.

  4. Did you get a guided tour of the spaceship? That's always the best part about alien abduction. I won't go into the worst part...

    1. Kellie - no guided tour. We were having too much fun just chatting. And the worst part? Well, if there WAS a worst part it happened before they gave me my brains back :)

    1. That was one of my husband's and my favorite shows! Except towards the end, when it got kind of stupid.

  6. October seems like an eternity this year. I wish I had more appreciation for the season. [I miss minute-by-minute...]

    1. Mark, October seems kind of long to me too this year - - probably only because I am having a hard time keeping up with the Halloween blogging theme! I miss minute-by-minute too :) But, it'll be back in 12 days!!
