Yes, there really is a "Talk Like A Pirate Day." I kind of like it. I'm not very good at it, so I'll just let these cartoons do the talking, matey. (See what I mean?)

DeleteI laughed out loud at the pirates texting. I hear Krispy Kreme was giving out donuts to those who appeared in full pirate's gear. I never knew there were donuts on the high seas.

DeleteThe school where I once worked had Pirates as the mascot. On Talk Like A Pirate Day, the same teacher would always get on the intercom and read the daily announcements like a "pirate".
ReplyDeleteI saw several ppl dressed as pirates yesterday coming home from work. A little later I heard on the radio it was a Pirate Day. Sure was comforting knowing I hadn't breathed toxic air on my way home! :)
