Nope. No Way. Never.

Nuh uh.  Niet.   Nunca.   No matter how you say it,  there are some things that I will NEVER eat, say, or be.

I will Never eat liver.   I have seen Hannibal.   No, I will Never eat liver.  (Or fava beans, for  that matter.)

I will Never say the "F" word.   I think it is a very ugly word.   No, I will Never say fart.   (Or the other "F" word, for that matter.)

I will Never be "PC."   I think "PC" is a copout for doing what you really think is right but are afraid.    No, I will Never be "PC."   (I will Never be "Pretty Cool" either, for that matter.)

AND, I will Never lose my faith.   Nunca.   No way.   Nuh uh.  Never.

  1. This post cheered me up this morning! I like your last N very best, as long as you stick to that one, the rest will fall into line! I will never eat liver neither, it tastes nasty! :-)

  2. The liver of a polar bear will kill you because it has so much vitamin A, so never eat a polar bears liver! Catching the polar bear is also a bit unsafe.

  4. There ought to be a law against liver. I do appreciate your staunch approach to your ideals. Well-played!

  6. I hate liver. Why would anyone want to ingest an organ that processes waste? Yuck!

  7. I think it's good to know where your lines are. It's scary how many people don't seem to have any...

    1. That is so true, Robin. Some people think of those lines as an affront to their freedom. I see it as just the opposite - -

  9. Apparently, as a small child, I loved liver. I would ask for it for dinner all the time. I shudder when I think of it!

  10. these are great, and I'm with you on all of them! I'm so TIRED of having to be PC! It's such a crock. We need to state the truth. I'm popping in from the a-z. I think I met you at LAST year's a-z. You're still on my blogroll! :-)

  11. I try not to use the F word too much either. It's just so pedestrian! I prefer to go British and use expressions like "bag o' wank" and "bloody buggery bollocks". See, much classier.

  13. When I was a kid, our family camped for a week in a state park. For one night's dinner, my mother had hamburger for the kids and liver for the adults. Just as she was getting ready to prepare dinner, a black bear came down from the woods and raided the coolers of our campsite and several nearby sites. The bear ate every bite of the burger, but did not touch the liver. I think THAT says something about the palatability of liver. :)
