For unto us a Child is born,
unto us a Son is given,
and the government shall be upon His shoulder;
and His name shall be called
Wonderful,
Counsellor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
unto us a Son is given,
and the government shall be upon His shoulder;
and His name shall be called
Wonderful,
Counsellor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.
It gives me Hope that, even though the world may be getting crazier and meaner every day, all will be well!

ReplyDeleteI always loved Handel's Messiah. I know I have the album but I can't remember who performs it.
ReplyDeleteIt always makes me want to sing!

DeleteIt just occurred to me that this is a recurring theme with you. This makes me happy. I am smiling right now. You can't see it. You are just going to have to trust me.

DeleteHope... just an amazing thing, and almost impossible to get thru life's hazards without. As far as I'm concerned, there is but one source of hope, just as you have written of here. With the Grace of God we have everything, without it we have nothing we are lost in darkness and chaos. Thank you for the powerful reminder this day of the joy that hope brings us!
ReplyDeleteWithout hope for something better, what would be the point ?!
DeleteWow, your early morning karaoke is a bit more refined than mine. I was singing I Like Big Butts by Sir Mix-A-Lot.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kellie, you silly girl. That's my EVENING karaoke!
DeleteWithout hope, I would be a complete mess!
ReplyDeleteTake 25 to Hollister
