Just Dance

I have often wished that I were less inhibited.   That I would not fear singing at the top of my lungs when I was happy, no matter where I was.  Or that when my husband dragged me to those church Valentine's Day dances that I hate so much that I could forget myself and just dance like I imagine me dancing in my head.

And then I saw this picture, and now I remember why I don't do those things.

  1. People tell me i look goofy when I dance. Then I see other people dancing and I think "How goofy could I be compared to these idiots?" So now I just refuse to dance.

My favorite is at weddings when all the old people (like me) get up and do the twist to show the youngsters how hip they (we) are. LAME!!

    1. I know what you mean. I refuse to dance, too, much to my husband's disappointment.

  3. Haha! I can't dance, and my husband absolutely loves to. He drags me out on the floor, I make a fool out of myself for one dance, then he remembers I don't belong out there and lets me sit and talk to friends for the rest of the night. Then I'm happy. LOL

  7. I love to dance and it's really difficult for me to drag my husband to any dance! I'm sure I look ridiculous dancing but when I'm in the moment it's okay! :)Judy, just do it anyway! :)

  8. I fully recommend dancing like no one is watching ... provided no one is watching, of course.

    1. Mostly I like being a little shy and introverted, but sometimes I just want to let loose and go crazy!!

  11. Ha! I can get away with doing crazy things like that because I always have a certain 3 1/2 foot tall person with me!

    1. Maybe that's the answer - - I'll just have to borrow somebody's 3 1/2 foot tall person!

  13. When everyone has access to cell phones with cameras & youtube, I think you're making a wise decision.
