What A Jerk

Okay, there is something wrong with my arm.  Well, both arms, really.   I just don't get it.  They seem to have this ailment . . . this malady.  Almost like a seizure.  A jerking of the arm that I can't seem to control.   It doesn't happen ALL the time.  But it does happen often enough that I am getting worried.  I may need to see a doctor.

It only happens when I'm walking past a platter of cookies, or a plate of fudge, or the ice cream aisle in the grocery store.   The arm jerks out, and then a spasm of the hand, grabbing whatever cookie, fudge or ice cream is closest.

Yes, I need to see a doctor . . . a HEAD doctor!

  1. ROFL, I have that same disease. My symptoms are more severe... if I start talking or thinking about any of the above, it weighs on my mind until I go make it or buy it! The holidays seem to increase the severity of this disease, and the snap on my jeans is feeling the pinch today! ;-)

  6. Ah yes, that would be a seasonal case of Stuffyourfaceitis. Don't worry, it'll pass off some time after new year.

  8. You are SO funny, Judy! I needed that laugh! I have it to but one thing about my particular version? It is most bothersome in the evening AND it demands that if there is nothing to grab, I must make something for the hand to grab. In January I have to have surgery on my right hand. I wonder if that will cure the condition?

  10. Ha ha ha! I have the very same condition. The only way to control it is to put a glass of wine in your hand. ;-)

    1. sorry to have given you a scare - I'd hate to be the reason someone drinks - although my husband has told me that if he drank I'd be the reason - haha, funny man.
