All this talk of tarantulas and bacon and onions and quarter pounders this month has made me very thirsty. And when I am really thirsty the only drink that satisfies is Water. Agua. de l'eau. H20. wasser. vann. I love water, whatever the language. My mind, however, working the way it does, immediately went to work - -
Water.
Well.
"What's that Lassie? Timmy fell down a well??"
Can you imagine pulling up a bucket from a well expecting to draw a nice drink of water and instead finding a shivering, wet boy named Timmy??
Ok. Enough! Shake it off. Back to the topic - - Water. Water is life. I could give you all sorts of boring statistics about how good it is for us, but I won't. We all know that we couldn't live long without it. And not only is water life-giving and the most delicious of all beverages, but water is also lovely to look at.
And fun to play in.
Water. The REAL elixir of life!
I posted about water today too. Only I went in completely the opposite direction. Funny how we all think so differently. This was a great post and your blog is very cute!
ReplyDeleteCouldn't you see your self with an iced tea (or margarita) sitting in one of those chair in the ocean? That is a gorgeous picture.
ReplyDeleteYou remind me that I don't drink enough water.
Love water as long as it's got Crystal Lite ice tea mixed in w/ it! lol
ReplyDeleteI drink a lot of water. Since I started drinking it more, I have noticed a lot of good changes in me.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I have a well. :D
Love the post - and love water! To drink, to soak, to play, to walk in...
ReplyDeleteYay for water! (and yay for Lassie saving Timmy from drowning. :D)
ReplyDeleteWater is great. My favorite water comes out of a bottle and down from the clouds, just like today!
ReplyDeleteI know probably don't drink enough even though everyone's bodies need water. Loved the little story of Timmy and Lassie.
ReplyDeleteHuge fan of water :)
ReplyDeleteWater is wonderful. (:
ReplyDeleteP.S. Congrats on having just one more to go before achieving 100 followers. (: You're too amazing!
I like water, but coffee beans make it taste better. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have a well and are soooooooo very lucky that the water is safe and delicious to drink just as it is. It was the true selling point when we looked at the place. Being a city kid, I never really thought much about it.
ReplyDeleteI like it best when it turns into snowflakes! :D
ReplyDeleteI love water and have never understood people who say they don't like it.....it's thirst quenching and perfect! Although, I do love Dr.Pepper for the same reasons....
ReplyDeleteget this woman a copywriting job!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWater is very important to our life, it's necessary, fun, pretty and monstrous! We're on well water and there's nothing like it. We have antique dipper hanging beside our kitchen sink that lends an 'other time' taste to a cold drink of well water.
ReplyDeletegood luck with the remaining Challenge. I'm a new follower.

As much as I love being in or near water, as refreshing as that feels to not just my body, but my soul, you would think I would be better about remembering to drink enough of it. I have a feeling I am pretty consistently at least mildly dehyrdrated.
