I took many of those inscriptions and wrote a piece on each of them. I have one more to go. And you are right about my mom loving those pieces, and more importantly, the comments from her nine children. I feel so fortunate that my sibs remain my best friends. It's not that we see each other all that often - we really don't - but we are strongly connected and I have always known that I can call any of them for help if I need it. And, I know that I would be there in a flash if any of them needed me.Graciewildehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00142582724233027386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790267042141485205.post-7689400193599290222011-12-21T15:48:18.398-08:002011-12-21T15:48:18.398-08:00Looks scrumptious! A tip of the Christmas stocking to her. I submitted a piece to the Observer, our community paper here in Northern Mendocino County, that was originally entitled, "The Degree of Cremation," one of my "Christmas Reflections" which dealt with Christmas morning itself in my childhood. My mom always made this outrageous cinnamon coffee cake, but in the rush of things it sometimes was in the oven a smidgen too long. We gave her a hard time, but she had to stand guard over it to make sure it made it through until breakfast.Mark O'Neillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16295762252612104201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4790267042141485205.post-11016628602441635242011-12-21T09:30:24.576-08:002011-12-21T09:30:24.576-08:00That's so funny.
